METRO CITY MEDICAL CLINIC

Metro City Medical Clinic has treated Albertans struggling with opioid addiction since 2008. Our compassionate team of specialist physicians, care coordinators, primary care partners, pharmacy partners, and mobile outreach nurses is dedicated to your health, safety and quality of life. We believe evidence-based treatment should be accessible when you’re ready, so we don’t require a referral, we don’t keep a waiting list, and we don’t charge any fees. Give us a call, message us, or walk in any time we’re open, 7 days a week.

OPIOID AGONIST TREATMENT

Treatment with methadone, buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone™, Sublocade™), and slow release oral morphine (SROM, Kadian™) helps suppress the intrusive cravings and reduce or eliminate the severe withdrawal symptoms that make quitting so difficult. These opioid agonist treatments (OAT) have decades of strong evidence of effectiveness and safety when prescribed carefully.
